पगला घोड़ा (Pagla Ghoda) is a brilliant play by Badar Sarkar woven around the simple premise of four men from different walks of life chatting at the funeral of a young woman. A mystery shrouds her death and as they sit for drinks after the cremation, secrets from their own pasts gradually reveal themselves – secrets to the external world as well as to the worlds within them. The ghost of the burning woman haunts the four men, bringing them to face their lost love and guilt, also revealing her own longing for true love. Will the men be punished for their past actions? Will the woman’s search for true love come to an end?
